The Oakville Blades and the Toronto Patriots Patriots skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

Oakville and Toronto Patriots could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie.

The Blades kept the Patriots' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jacob Standen made 39 saves on 42 shots.

Oakville was helped by Drew Worrad, who tallied one goal. Worrad scored 18:19 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Oakville. Jackson Bales assisted on the tally. Oakville additionally got points from Bryce Misley, who also had one goal and one assist. Oakville also got a goal from Patrick Kudla as well. More assists for Oakville came via Evan Brown, Paul Butler, and Ryan Garvey, who each chipped in one.

Toronto Patriots was helped by Jeremy Pullara, who grabbed one goal. Pullara scored 3:37 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Oakville. Mario Ferraro provided the assist. Toronto Patriots also got points from Daniel Barnes, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Nicholas Ursitti also scored for Toronto Patriots. In addition, Toronto Patriots received assists from Louis DiMatteo, Michael Siddall, Connor Beck, and Jack Lyons, who contributed one each.

Brendan McGlynn recorded 17 saves for the Blades. Oakville incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Patriots incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Toronto Patriots ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Logan Blaser was ejected from the game.
