The Lindsay Muskies tried to dig themselves out of a four-goal hole, but the Toronto Patriots Patriots held on for a 4-3 victory. Toronto Patriots made the score 4-0 on a goal by Jake Harris at 18:18 in the second period, and Lindsay got as close as 4-3 when Cedric Ralph scored 14:40 into the third period. Harris had a great game for the Patriots, netting two goals. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 11:53 into the first period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. Toronto Patriots forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. The Patriots had been averaging 12.0 minutes in penalties per game. Toronto Patriots' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Lindsay power plays. The Patriots kept the Muskies' goalie busy throughout the game, and Boyd Diclemente made 39 saves on 43 shots.
