St. Michaels rips Milton, 6-1

The St. Michaels Buzzers were firing on all cylinders against the Milton Icehawks, and when the final buzzer sounded Buzzers emerged with a 6-1 win.

St. Michaels was led by goalie Mark Manolescu, who finished with 32 saves while allowing one goal. Manolescu managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 4.01 prior to the game.

The Buzzers were led by Cameron Wright, who finished with one goal. Wright scored 14:44 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Michaels. Colton Trumbla picked up the assist.

St. Michaels forced Milton goalie Jakob DeVincentis to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. The Buzzers found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, St. Michaels averages 3.1 goals per contest.

St. Michaels additionally got points from Thomas Beretta, who also finished with one goal and three assists, Trumbla, who also registered one goal and one assist, and A.J. Dorazio, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Dalton Barnes also scored for St. Michaels. More assists for St. Michaels came via Anthony Paveglio, who had one, Cameron Searles, who had two, and Noah Jordan, who had four.

The Icehawks' offense rang up 33 shots on the Buzzers' net.

Milton was led by Joseph Teofilo, who scored the team's only goal. Teofilo scored 4:38 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Michaels. Anthony Baxter assisted on the tally.

St. Michaels incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Jakob DeVincentis made 27 saves for the Icehawks on 33 shots. Milton incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
