Kingston outlasts Georgetown, 4-2

The Kingston Voyageurs gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Georgetown Raiders.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Danny Bosio secured the win for Kingston with a goal in the third period.

The Voyageurs were led by Bosio, who racked up one goal. Bosio scored 19:47 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Kingston. Matthew Lourenco provided the assist.

Kingston additionally got points from Brandon Nadeau, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Kingston included Zachary Emelifeonwu and Anthony Rinaldi, who scored one goal each. More assists for Kingston came via Jacob Hanlon, Cole Beckstead, Reid Russell, and Ian Harris, who contributed one each.

Georgetown excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

The Raiders were helped by Josh Dickinson, who registered one goal. Dickinson scored 16:02 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Daniel Hardie picked up the assist. Brendan Jacome also scored for Georgetown. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Andrew Court, who had two.

David Richer rejected 26 shots on goal for Kingston. The Voyageurs incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Georgetown's Andrew Masters stopped 25 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Raiders incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
