Jake Payette registered two points to lead the Georgetown Raiders to a 5-2 victory over the Stouffville Spirit.

Georgetown's offense rang up 37 shots on Stouffville's net. The defensemen of the Raiders were also effective in the Spirit's zone, and came away with three goals.

Georgetown additionally got points from Josh Dickinson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Georgetown also had goals scored by Michael Boushy, Zack Dybowski, and Matthew Cairns, who each put in one. More assists for Georgetown came via Jack Jacome, who had one and Jordan Crocker and Daniel Hardie, who each chipped in two.

Stouffville kept Georgetown's goalie busy throughout the game, and Andrew Masters made 30 saves on 32 shots.

The Spirit were helped by James Mense-Dietrich, who had one goal. Mense-Dietrich scored 4:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stouffville. Nathan Hudgin assisted on the tally. Stouffville also got a goal from Chad Burrows as well.

The Raiders incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Aaron Taylor rejected 32 shots on goal for Stouffville. The Spirit incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
