The Whitby Fury used a sparkling performance by Jordon White to take down the Markham Royals, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Whitby's 3-0 shutout victory.

Markham's power play was ineffective against the Fury's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Whitby's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Markham power plays. The Fury's defense was surprisingly good. Whitby averages 3.0 goals allowed per game. The Fury's offense rang up 36 shots on the Royals' net.
