North York and Toronto Jr. Canadiens could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie. The Rangers kept the Junior Canadiens' goalie busy throughout the game, and Matthew Camilleri made 33 saves on 36 shots. North York was helped by Michael Morgan, who had one goal. Morgan scored short handed 13:52 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. The Rangers played down a man on Jeremy Szabo's slashing. Ryan Hunt also scored for North York. In addition, North York received assists from Ted Hunt, Max Novick, and Ryan Takamatsu, who contributed one each. Toronto Jr. Canadiens excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Junior Canadiens forced North York goalie Jeremie Lintner to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots. Toronto Jr. Canadiens was helped by Justin Maiolino, who registered one goal.
