Toronto Jr. Canadiens falls to Georgetown in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Georgetown Raiders' Andrew Court scored 3:14 into overtime to beat the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens, 4-3 (OT).

Josh Dickinson was all over the ice for Georgetown, as he registered two goals in the win. Dickinson's tallies came at 14:02 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Georgetown and 17:20 into the third to make the score 3-3.

The Raiders stifled Toronto Jr. Canadiens' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Georgetown forced the Junior Canadiens goalie Daniel Lopapa to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Georgetown also got a goal from Liam Winslow as well. More assists for Georgetown came via Jack Jacome, who had two and Daniel Hardie, who had three.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Raiders to score on any of their four power plays. Georgetown was unable to stop the Junior Canadiens from sending pucks towards the net, and Toronto Jr. Canadiens eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

The Junior Canadiens were helped by Nicholas Jarzabek, who had one goal. Jarzabek scored 11:58 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Justin Maiolino assisted on the tally. Toronto Jr. Canadiens also had goals scored by Andrew Pucci and Ryan Ngan, who scored one goal each. In addition, Toronto Jr. Canadiens received assists from Daniel Tsiampas, who had one.

Billy Day rejected 32 shots on goal for the Raiders. Georgetown incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Lopapa recorded 32 saves for Toronto Jr. Canadiens. The Junior Canadiens incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
