Wellington also had goals scored by Brodie Maracle and Griffin McCarty, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Wellington were Dorian Overland, who had two and Carter Allen, Jacob Hetherington, Jeff Christensen, Jacob Panetta, Colin Doyle, Aiden Girduckis, and Anthony Popovich, who contributed one each.

Orangeville kept the Dukes' goalie busy throughout the game, and Popovich made 30 saves on 35 shots. The Flyers' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. Orangeville gives up 2.5 goals per game.
