Mad Hatters beats Reservoir Dogz 7-5 as Yeo gets hat trick

Reservoir Dogz could not stop Mad Hatters' Nelson Yeo, who tallied a hat trick in a 7-5 win.

Yeo got on the scoresheet 5:23 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:17 into the first and at 10:12 into the first.

The win gave Mad Hatters a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Mad Hatters led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Mad Hatters' Neal Singh scored at 5:28 in the second period to put Mad Hatters up 6-2.

Reservoir Dogz was unable to stop Mad Hatters from sending pucks towards the net, and Mad Hatters eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Mad Hatters did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Mad Hatters additionally got points from Sean Toronchuk, who also registered one goal and two assists. Mad Hatters also got a goal from Trevor Crane as well. In addition, Mad Hatters received assists from Kyle Kilbourn, who had two, Patric Yuen, who had three, and Joel Barnabe, Jason Brunette, and Manvir Sangha, who each chipped in one.

Reservoir Dogz did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Reservoir Dogz was led by Philip Chow, who had two goals and one assist. Chow scored the first of his two goals at 3:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Reservoir Dogz. Peter Gan assisted on the tally. Chow's next tally made the score 6-3 Mad Hatters with 12:10 left in the second period. Jeff Lam picked up the assist. Reservoir Dogz also got points from Adam Racanelli, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Reservoir Dogz also had goals scored by Nat Strull and Eric Lam, who each put in one. More assists for Reservoir Dogz came via Vedran Hrbacek and Jon Chan, who contributed one each.

Mad Hatters' Bruce Wayne stopped 19 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Mad Hatters registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. George Gligoris made 31 saves for Reservoir Dogz on 37 shots. Reservoir Dogz registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
