Parhar nets hat trick, leads MANIMALS II to 6-4 win over BC Buds

Arminder Parhar netted a hat trick to lead MANIMALS II over BC Buds, 6-4.

Parhar notched his first tally 5:42 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:29 into the first and at 1:05 into the second.

The win gave MANIMALS II a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

MANIMALS II led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when MANIMALS II's Amit Manhas scored at 6:13 in the second period to put MANIMALS II up 6-3.

BC Buds' power play was ineffective against MANIMALS II's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

MANIMALS II excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.

MANIMALS II also got points from Manhas, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Norminder Parmar, who also registered one goal and two assists, and Amandeep Parmar, who also had one goal and two assists. In addition, MANIMALS II received assists from Samir Nathani, who had one.

BC Buds was helped by Jeremy Delos Santos, who finished with two goals. Delos Santos scored the first of his two goals at 6:56 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Kevin Manongdo assisted on the tally. Delos Santos' next tally made the score 6-4 MANIMALS II with 12:48 left in the second period. Daniel Torres picked up the assist. BC Buds additionally got points from Kevin Papilla, who also racked up two goals and one assist.

Sean Wasserman rejected 14 shots on goal for MANIMALS II. MANIMALS II incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. BC Buds' Michael Chao stopped 13 shots out of the 19 that he faced. BC Buds incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
