Morrison's first goal came 9:36 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:46 into the first and at 14:07 into the second.The win gave Pointstreak Wolves a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. Pointstreak Wolves was effective with a man advantage, and put in two goals while on the power play. Pointstreak Wolves also got points from Andrej Nemcek, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Aaron Loughhead, who also registered two goals and one assist. Tony Lin also scored for Pointstreak Wolves. More assists for Pointstreak Wolves came via Stanley HC Ho, who had two and Alex Lam, Rick Lin, and Ed Lin, who contributed one each. The defensemen of Slick Hands were also effective in Pointstreak Wolves' zone, and came away with six goals. Slick Hands was helped by Isaac Chong, who had three goals. Slick Hands additionally got points from Aaron Yip, who also tallied two goals and three assists to lead the team in points and Thanh Ho, who also racked up one goal and two assists. In addition, Slick Hands received assists from Kevin Cho and John Yeo, who each chipped in one and Kevin Chong and Jason Fung, who contributed two each. Justin Cheung made 23 saves for Pointstreak Wolves on 29 shots. Pointstreak Wolves incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Sam Chin recorded 20 saves for Slick Hands.
