Huge game by Norbury boosts Coachs Corner over Lexington Wheels, 6-3

Sean Norbury was all over the ice for Coachs Corner, as he tallied two goals and three assists in Coachs Corner's 6-3 win over Lexington Wheels.

Norbury scored on the power play at 8:21 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Coachs Corner and again while on the power play 10:53 into the second to make the score 5-3 Coachs Corner.

The win gave Coachs Corner a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Coachs Corner forced Lexington Wheels goalie Jamie Pinton to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. Coachs Corner cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on five chances.

Coachs Corner additionally got points from Lucas Johnston, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Bradley Crompton, who also grabbed two goals and one assist. Nick Johnston also scored for Coachs Corner. More assists for Coachs Corner came via Andrew Rehtlane, who had two and Gregory Johnson, Lucas Bedford, and Tristan Jones, who each chipped in one.

Coachs Corner was unable to stop Lexington Wheels from sending pucks towards the net, and Lexington Wheels eventually piled up 48 shots on goal.

Lexington Wheels was helped by Ryan Iacoviello, who registered one goal. Iacoviello scored short handed 9:02 into the second period to make the score 3-3. A hooking call on Oliver Gerber put Lexington Wheels on the penalty kill. Lexington Wheels also got a goal from Adam Christensen as well. In addition, Lexington Wheels received assists from Joe Hewlett and Pino Sorrenti, who contributed one each.

Coachs Corner's Jason Granholm stopped 45 shots out of the 48 that he faced. Coachs Corner incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Pinton rejected 27 shots on goal for Lexington Wheels. Lexington Wheels incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
