The win gave Dragon HC a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Dragon HC came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Dragon HC fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Venom's Ivan Chong at 18:45 in the first period. Dragon HC knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Jordan Dalessandro at 18:02 in the second period.

Dragon HC was led by Tetreau, who racked up one goal and one assist.

Dragon HC additionally got points from Kenny Leong, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Dragon HC came via Aman Jhaj, who had one and Tj Chase, who had two.

Venom's offense rang up 37 shots on Dragon HC's net. Venom did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.
