Huge game by Chong boosts Slick Hands over Russian Rockets, 5-2

Isaac Chong had one goal and two assists to lead Slick Hands to a 5-2 victory over Russian Rockets.

Chong beat Mardin Akrawi with a shot 12:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Slick Hands. Steven Nguyen picked up the assist. Chong dished an assist on Paul Chong's goal that made the score 2-0 Slick Hands at 12:15 into the first period. He added another helper on Nguyen's goal that made the score 3-1 Slick Hands at 17:19 into the first period.

The win gave Slick Hands a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Russian Rockets was unable to stop Slick Hands from sending pucks towards the net, and Slick Hands eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. Slick Hands got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Slick Hands additionally got points from Chong, who also registered two goals and one assist and Nguyen, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Slick Hands also got a goal from Aaron Yip as well. In addition, Slick Hands received assists from Andy Chang, who had one.

Russian Rockets' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Russian Rockets was helped by Anthony Su, who had one goal. Su scored 15:35 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Slick Hands. Murray Huynh assisted on the tally.
