Toronto Pro Hockey completes comeback, beats Connecticut Jr Rangers, 5-3

Toronto Pro Hockey climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat Connecticut Jr Rangers, 5-3.

Toronto Pro Hockey never led in the game until netting the game winner. Toronto Pro Hockey fell behind 3-0 after a goal by Connecticut Jr Rangers' Eli Friedman at 6:47 in the second period. Toronto Pro Hockey tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Anthony Romani at 5:56 in the third period. Toronto Pro Hockey netted the game winner at 6:04 in the third period on a goal by Romani.

Toronto Pro Hockey was led by Nick Lardis, who had one goal.

Toronto Pro Hockey managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Toronto Pro Hockey ended up below its season average of 3.0 penalty minutes per game.

Toronto Pro Hockey additionally got points from Taeo Artichuk, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Calum Ritchie, who also registered one goal and one assist. Toronto Pro Hockey also got a goal from Luke Mcnamara as well. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Pro Hockey were Cameron Allen, who had two and Luc Malkhassian and Dylan Coyle, who contributed one each.

Toronto Pro Hockey's defense shut down Connecticut Jr Rangers' forwards for much of the game, and Connecticut Jr Rangers got off only 13 shots during the contest.

Connecticut Jr Rangers was helped by Logan Renkowski, who finished with one goal. Renkowski scored 5:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Connecticut Jr Rangers. Charles Dellavolpe also scored for Connecticut Jr Rangers. In addition, Connecticut Jr Rangers received assists from Michael Hagens and Arthur Devillers, who each chipped in one.

Toronto Pro Hockey's starting goalie, Jake Rivett, made 10 saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Mason Vaccari, who stopped zero shots. Toronto Pro Hockey registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. Joseph ONeill made 23 saves for Connecticut Jr Rangers on 27 shots. Connecticut Jr Rangers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
