OC ALLIANCE came close to giving away a four-goal lead to LAS VEGAS ACES BLUE, but did just enough to escape with a 6-4 victory. OC ALLIANCE led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when OC ALLIANCE's KEVIN TANAKA scored at 10:41 in the second period to put OC ALLIANCE up 6-2. More assists for OC ALLIANCE came via BRIAN VOOGT, who had three and ALEX JOHNSON, MIKE TASCH, and JAY ALMARAZ, who contributed one each. LAS VEGAS ACES BLUE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four OC ALLIANCE power plays. LAS VEGAS ACES BLUE was led by JACOB CHAIRES, who tallied two goals and two assists. CHAIRES scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 9:42 into the first period to make the score 2-1 OC ALLIANCE. LAS VEGAS ACES BLUE had gained a power play chance when ALMARAZ was whistled for hooking. KYLE CALLAHAN assisted on the tally. CHAIRES' next tally on the power play made the score 6-4 OC ALLIANCE with 5:32 left in the second period. A slashing penalty on LAU had put LAS VEGAS ACES BLUE on the power play. LAS VEGAS ACES BLUE additionally got points from CALLAHAN, who also registered two goals and one assist.
