Joshua Ogden scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and NEW ENGLAND INSANITY held off the challenges of PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY in a tough 4-2 win. Ogden provided NEW ENGLAND INSANITY with the game-winning tally when he scored 8:13 into the first period.Ogden was all over the ice for NEW ENGLAND INSANITY, as he tallied two goals in the win. Others who scored for NEW ENGLAND INSANITY included Justin Zarrella and Austin Natividad, who each put in one. In addition, NEW ENGLAND INSANITY received assists from Jimmy Fuoroli, Brian Beaudette, Christian Iacobellis, and Joshua Antunes, who contributed one each. NEW ENGLAND INSANITY's defense shut down PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY's forwards for much of the game, and PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY got off only 13 shots during the contest. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY was led by ERIC COOPER, who racked up one goal and one assist. COOPER scored 5:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY. BRANDON SPENCER provided the assist. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY also got a goal from BILL CUNNIGHAM as well. NEW ENGLAND INSANITY's Nelson Raposa stopped 11 shots out of the 13 that he faced. NEW ENGLAND INSANITY incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities. KYLE MAGER recorded 15 saves for PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of four power plays.
