LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE survives NEW YORK TERROR WHITE comeback, wins 4-3

LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE came close to giving away a three-goal lead to NEW YORK TERROR WHITE, but did just enough to escape with a 4-3 victory.

LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE's Chris Russolello scored at 13:15 in the second period to put LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE up 4-1.

In a losing effort, NEW YORK TERROR WHITE was led by Jeremy Puglia, who racked up two goals. Puglia scored the first of his two goals at 10:42 into the second period to make the score 3-1 LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE. James Rieger picked up the assist. Puglia's next tally made the score 4-2 LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE with 5:59 left in the second period. A slashing penalty on Ryan Hoffer had put NEW YORK TERROR WHITE on the power play. James Kelly provided the assist.

In the losing effort, NEW YORK TERROR WHITE was paced by Puglia, who grabbed two goals.

LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE also got points from Chris Sharkey, who also had one goal and one assist and Jake Corso, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, LONG ISLAND 495ERS BLUE received assists from Mike Muscaro, who had two and Chris Brancken and Steve Urso, who each chipped in one.

NEW YORK TERROR WHITE's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

NEW YORK TERROR WHITE additionally got points from Rieger, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for NEW YORK TERROR WHITE came via T.J. Hohorst, who had one.
