NEW ENGLAND INSANITY downs HARTFORD FIREANTS CONNECTICUT in overtime, 6-5 (OT)

Brian Beaudette gave NEW ENGLAND INSANITY a 6-5 (OT) victory over HARTFORD FIREANTS CONNECTICUT when he scored 52 seconds into the extra period.

Joshua Ogden had a great game for NEW ENGLAND INSANITY, netting two goals. Ogden scored on the power play at 37 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 NEW ENGLAND INSANITY and again while 3:03 into the second to make the score 5-3 NEW ENGLAND INSANITY.

NEW ENGLAND INSANITY also got points from Joshua Antunes, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. NEW ENGLAND INSANITY also had goals scored by Justin Zarrella and Austin Natividad, who each put in one. In addition, NEW ENGLAND INSANITY received assists from Jimmy Fuoroli, who had two.

NEW ENGLAND INSANITY was unable to stop HARTFORD FIREANTS CONNECTICUT from sending pucks towards the net, and HARTFORD FIREANTS CONNECTICUT eventually piled up 43 shots on goal. HARTFORD FIREANTS CONNECTICUT did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.
