Toronto Marlies survived a determined comeback attempt by Eastern Ontario Wild on the way to a 2-1 win.

A goal by Jamie Drysdale put Toronto Marlies up 2-0 in the second period, but Eastern Ontario Wild pulled to within one on Tucker Burke's tally 9:20 into the third period.

Toronto Marlies was paced by Drysdale, who finished with one goal and one assist. Drysdale scored 14:28 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Toronto Marlies. Ryan Alexander picked up the assist.

Toronto Marlies' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Toronto Marlies also got a goal from Nick Enero as well. More assists for Toronto Marlies came via Eric Russell, who had one.

Eastern Ontario Wild found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere eight shots against Toronto Marlies' defense.
