Caledonia rolls over Leamington, 6-2

The Leamington Flyers had trouble finding ways to stop the Caledonia Corvairs, which beat Flyers, 6-2.
After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Leamington faces elimination next time out.
Caledonia pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 30 penalty minutes.
Caledonia's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Leamington power plays.
Caledonia also got points from Connor Bramwell, who also registered one goal and one assist, Kyle Tanev, who also had one goal and one assist, and Ryan Blunt, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Caledonia also had goals scored by Luke Sinclair and Jacob Buch, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Caledonia were Mitch Purdie, who had two and Jordan Peacock, Matt Rimac APJ, and Matthew Hore, who contributed one each.
The Flyers were led by Mitchell Amante, who racked up one goal and one assist. Amante scored 19:29 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Caledonia. Tyler Duarte provided the assist. Leamington also got a goal from Cale Phibbs as well. In addition, Leamington received assists from Matthew Opblinger and Zak Parlette, who each chipped in one.
Kevin Entmaa recorded 19 saves for the Corvairs. Caledonia registered two goals on seven power play opportunities. Michael Barrett made 22 saves for Leamington on 28 shots. The Flyers ended with 23 minutes in penalty time with nine minors and one major. For Leamington, Ryan Shipley was ejected from the game.
