The Pensacola Ice Flyers' Nick Lazorko scored 8:08 into overtime to beat Mississippi RiverKings, 3-2 (OT).

With the win, Pensacola avoided elimination to make the series score 1-1 in the best of three series.

The Ice Flyers were led by Lazorko, who racked up one goal.

Mississippi RiverKings was unable to stop Pensacola from sending pucks towards the net, and the Ice Flyers eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. Pensacola did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Pensacola also got points from Jon Puskar, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Nick McParland, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Pensacola received assists from Zach Josepher, Brett Lutes, and Steve Bergin, who contributed one each.

Mississippi RiverKings' offense rang up 37 shots on the Ice Flyers' net.

Mississippi RiverKings was led by Matt Harrington, who registered one goal and one assist. Harrington scored 5:13 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Leo Thomas provided the assist. Mississippi RiverKings also got a goal from Bryon Paulazzo as well. More assists for Mississippi RiverKings came via Matt Whitehead and Andrew Randazzo, who each chipped in one.

Max Strang made 35 saves for Pensacola on 37 shots. The Ice Flyers registered one goal on one power play opportunities. Mississippi RiverKings' Peter Di Salvo stopped 32 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Mississippi RiverKings incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
