Bryon Paulazzo gave Mississippi RiverKings a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Pensacola Ice Flyers when he scored 3:49 into the extra period.

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Pensacola faces elimination next time out.

Paulazzo had two goals to lead Mississippi RiverKings to victory.

The Ice Flyers were unable to stop Mississippi RiverKings from sending pucks towards the net, and Mississippi RiverKings eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Andrew Randazzo also scored for Mississippi RiverKings. More assists for Mississippi RiverKings came via Devin Mantha, who had one and Matt Harrington, who had two.

Pensacola's offense rang up 39 shots on Mississippi RiverKings' net.

The Ice Flyers were helped by Nick McParland, who registered two goals. McParland scored the first of his two goals at 14:21 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Brett Lutes assisted on the tally. McParland's next tally made the score 2-1 Pensacola with 12:29 left in the third period. Keegan Flaherty picked up the assist. In addition, Pensacola received assists from Drew Baker, who had one.

Peter Di Salvo made 37 saves for Mississippi RiverKings on 39 shots. Mississippi RiverKings incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Max Strang rejected 29 shots on goal for Pensacola. The Ice Flyers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
