The Liberty University Flames relied on the scoring touch of Jenny Macarthur, who netted two goals, to beat the Adrian College Bulldog, 3-1.

Macarthur's tallies came on the power play at 16:05 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Liberty University and 16:46 into the second to make the score 3-1 Liberty University.

Liberty University's offense rang up 32 shots on Adrian College's net. The Flames got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Liberty University also got a goal from Clarissa Tipping as well. More assists for Liberty University came via Carrie Jickling and Amanda Grainger, who each chipped in one and Sarah Stevenson and Catharine Burrell, who contributed two each.

The Bulldog were led by Alicia Tait, who scored the team's only goal. Tait scored 11:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Adrian College. Valerie Twigg picked up the assist.

Chantal Lischynski recorded 22 saves for Liberty University. The Flames incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Emily Michelin made 29 saves for Adrian College on 32 shots. The Bulldog incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
