Oklahoma City Blazers shrugs off penalties, upends Springfield Express, 4-0

Springfield Express failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and Oklahoma City Blazers shook off a number of penalties to win, 4-0.

With the win, Oklahoma City Blazers avoided elimination to make the series score 1-2 in the best of three series.

Oklahoma City Blazers was sparked by Kirill Romanov, who registered one goal. Romanov scored 1:44 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Oklahoma City Blazers. Kole Hudson provided the assist.

Oklahoma City Blazers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances.
