Oklahoma City Blazers falls to Springfield Express in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Springfield Express' Josh Cook scored 5:41 into overtime to beat Oklahoma City Blazers, 3-2 (OT).

With the win, Springfield Express avoided elimination to make the series score 1-1 in the best of three series.

Cook had two goals to lead Springfield Express to victory.

Springfield Express' offense rang up 35 shots on Oklahoma City Blazers' net. Springfield Express did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Springfield Express additionally got points from David Higgs, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for Springfield Express came via Tobias Sjolund, who had one.

Oklahoma City Blazers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Springfield Express power plays.
