Oklahoma City Blazers had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 10-4 win over Springfield Express.

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Springfield Express faces elimination next time out.

Victor Ekk had one goal and three assists to lead Oklahoma City Blazers. Ekk scored 5:13 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Oklahoma City Blazers. Ivan Bukshevannyy provided the assist.

Springfield Express had taken the advantage when Oklahoma City Blazers' Kobes got sent off for slashing. David Higgs picked up the assist. Springfield Express additionally got points from Per Eriksson, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Springfield Express also had goals scored by Eric Hewitt and Seth Ensor, who each put in one. For Springfield Express, Ensor was ejected from the game.
