M2 Missouri State University beats M2 Northeastern University 6-4 as Ryan gets hat trick

Jack Ryan lifted M2 Missouri State University to a 6-4 victory with a hat trick against M2 Northeastern University.

Ryan got on the scoresheet 7:55 into the first period. He then added goals at 35 seconds into the second and at 4:18 into the third.

M2 Missouri State University kept M2 Northeastern University's goalie busy throughout the game, and Zachary Webert made 29 saves on 35 shots.

M2 Missouri State University also got points from Bobby Brown, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M2 Missouri State University included Kyle Brown and Justin Buchheit, who scored one goal each. More assists for M2 Missouri State University came via Adam Otten, who had three and Matthew Townsend, Eric Aldag, Brendan McClew, Nick Sadorf, Miguel Franco, and Ryan Hogland, who each chipped in one.

M2 Northeastern University was helped by Kenneth Phillips, who tallied two goals and two assists. Phillips scored the first of his two goals at 3:54 into the second period to make the score 4-2 M2 Missouri State University. Evan Jones assisted on the tally. Phillips' next tally made the score 4-4 with 8:47 left in the second period. Jake Jaeger picked up the assist. M2 Northeastern University additionally got points from Jaeger, who also had two goals and two assists.

Justin Davis recorded 26 saves for M2 Missouri State University. M2 Missouri State University ended with no penalties and went 2-for-0 on the power play. M2 Northeastern University avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of zero power plays.
