M2 Grand Valley State University falls to M2 New York University in overtime, 6-5 (OT)

M2 New York University's Niko Masotta scored 3:43 into overtime to beat M2 Grand Valley State University, 6-5 (OT).

M2 New York University came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. M2 New York University trailed 4-2 after a goal by M2 Grand Valley State University's Mark Janiga at 14:16 in the second period. M2 New York University knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Troy Marrett at 19:43 in the third period.

M2 New York University got the win on the strength of a great game by Masotta, who had two goals and one assist. Masotta scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 11:10 into the third period to make the score 5-4 M2 New York University. Evan Ripley picked up the assist. Masotta's next tally on the power play made the score 6-5 M2 New York University with 16:17 left in overtime. Steven Esposito assisted on the tally.
