M2 New York University hangs on, beats M2 Northern Arizona University 3-1

M2 New York University beat M2 Northern Arizona University, 3-1, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

Michael Conslato provided M2 New York University with the game-winning tally when he scored 13:15 into the first period. Steven Esposito provided the assist.

M2 Northern Arizona University was stymied by M2 New York University's netminder Jack Nebe, who stopped 32 shots during the victory. Nebe certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.35 entering the contest.

M2 New York University was led by Niko Masotta, who grabbed one goal. Masotta scored 15:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M2 New York University. Conslato picked up the assist.
