Valencia Flyers tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Ontario Avalanche held on for a 3-2 victory. A goal by Paul Ramsey put Ontario Avalanche up 3-1 in the third period, but Valencia Flyers pulled to within one on Bas Assaf's tally 16:10 into the third period. Valencia Flyers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Valencia Flyers was helped by Adam Papayoanou, who finished with one goal. Papayoanou scored 12:18 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Ontario Avalanche. Chase Thesman picked up the assist. In addition, Valencia Flyers received assists from Jared Waldman, who had one. Chris Skeates made 24 saves for Ontario Avalanche on 26 shots.
