Phil Janikowski registered two points to lead the Essex 73s to a 6-3 victory over the Amherstburg Admirals. The win by Essex clinched the best of seven series at 4-2. The 73s excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Amherstburg was unable to stop Essex from sending pucks towards the net, and the 73s eventually piled up 45 shots on goal. Essex also got points from William Stadder, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Tyler Scott, who also racked up two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Essex included Jordan Ryan and Matthew Hebert, who scored one goal each. In addition, Essex received assists from Tyler Turner, who had two and Matthew Rosati, Nick Mainella, and Daniel McIntyre, who contributed one each. The Admirals were helped by Ryan Holzel, who tallied one goal. Holzel scored 14:41 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Essex. Chad Copeland assisted on the tally. Amherstburg additionally got points from James Brooks, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Amherstburg also got a goal from Brett Banwell as well. More assists for Amherstburg came via Blake Rutckyj, Mark Gangnon, and Jordan Luciw, who each chipped in one. Noah Hedrick rejected 25 shots on goal for Essex.
