Southern Oregon Spartans had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-3 win over Seattle Totems.

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Seattle Totems faces elimination next time out.

Johan Lovestrom was all over the ice for Southern Oregon Spartans, as he racked up two goals in the win. Lovestrom found the back of the net 1:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Southern Oregon Spartans and again while 4:44 into the first to make the score 2-0 Southern Oregon Spartans.

Southern Oregon Spartans forced Seattle Totems' goalies to work between the pipes, taking 54 shots and forcing 46 saves. Anton Vigre made 35 stops and Angus Campbell made 11. Southern Oregon Spartans did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Southern Oregon Spartans additionally got points from Nick Pagliacci, who also had one goal and one assist, Mackenzie Wood, who also finished with two goals and two assists, and Doug Gutierrez, who also grabbed one goal and three assists. Southern Oregon Spartans also had goals scored by Logan Myers and Cy Jenson, who scored one goal each. In addition, Southern Oregon Spartans received assists from RJ Haenze, Jonathon Lovelace, Anton Ivehed, Marcus Miller, Devin Laird, and Billy Saxton, who contributed one each and Zach Lovelace and Drew Carriere, who each chipped in two.

Seattle Totems did not rack up many penalties in the contest, racking up just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Seattle Totems was led by Adam Alfoldy, who registered one goal and one assist. Alfoldy scored 10:30 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Southern Oregon Spartans. Jordan Douglass picked up the assist. Others who scored for Seattle Totems included Marek Nemec and August Cnattingius, who each put in one. More assists for Seattle Totems came via Patryk Fiedorek, Duncan Long, and Jerry Yang, who contributed one each.

Reed Kinsey recorded 24 saves for Southern Oregon Spartans. Southern Oregon Spartans registered one goal on one power play opportunities. Seattle Totems registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
