Long Beach Bombers boosted by Tschudi's play in net, beats San Diego 4-1

A stellar performance between the pipes by Dennis Tschudi helped Long Beach Bombers defeat San Diego, 4-1.

With the win, Long Beach Bombers avoided elimination to make the series score 1-1 in the best of three series.

Long Beach Bombers was sparked by Parker Moskal, who registered one goal. Moskal scored 7:38 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Long Beach Bombers. Glenn Corey picked up the assist.

Long Beach Bombers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five San Diego power plays. Long Beach Bombers kept San Diego's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jokaim Jutras made 29 saves on 33 shots.

Long Beach Bombers also got a goal from Tomas Nemeth as well. In addition, Long Beach Bombers received assists from Patrik Johansson, who had two and Mikyal Anas, Nick Short, Anton Rhose, Johan Beatty, and Carl Lyden, who each chipped in one.

San Diego stifled Long Beach Bombers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. San Diego forced Long Beach Bombers goalie Tschudi to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

San Diego was led by Zev Glass, who scored the team's only goal. Glass scored 5:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 San Diego. Will Parker assisted on the tally.

Long Beach Bombers' Tschudi stopped 31 shots out of the 32 that he faced. Long Beach Bombers totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 0-for-3 on the power play. San Diego ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major.
