The M1 Colorado / University of Golden Buffaloes survived a determined comeback attempt by the M1 Buffalo / University at Bulls on the way to a 4-3 win.

A goal by Elliott Polanchyck put M1 Colorado / University of up 4-0 in the third period, but M1 Buffalo / University at pulled to within one on Michael Schalberg's tally 16:40 into the third period.

The Golden Buffaloes put 43 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.0 they average per game.

M1 Colorado / University of was helped by Erik Kardash, who registered one goal. Kardash scored 15:58 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Colorado / University of.
