St. Andrews College blows out Nichols School, 4-0LaBrier Family Arena Fri, Feb 27, 2015 The St. Andrews College Saints had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win over the Nichols School Vikings. St. Andrews College was led by Austin Cho, who had one goal. Cho scored 5:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Andrews College. JD Falconer picked up the assist. The Saints excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. St. Andrews College also had goals scored by Darren Iwai, Quentin Campbell, and Jacob Miller, who scored one goal each. More assists for St. Andrews College came via Mac Lewis, who had two and Matthew Thom, Justin Fregona, Adam Sinclair, and Alex MacDonald, who each chipped in one. Nichols School did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Vikings put an average of 2.5 pucks into the net per game. Matthew Galajda made 22 saves for St. Andrews College on 22 shots. The Saints incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Jerry Baerwitz rejected 20 shots on goal for Nichols School. The Vikings incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. |
