Duarte's hat trick boosts Leamington over Lambton Shores, 8-0

The Lambton Shores Predators could not stop the Leamington Flyers' Tyler Duarte, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-0 win.Duarte's first goal came 4:32 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:40 into the second and at 14 seconds into the third.
The win by Leamington clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.
The game was close after the first frame, but the Flyers banged in three goals during the second period to put the victory out of reach for Lambton Shores.
Michael Barrett frustrated the Predators' offense all game, and stopped 27 shots en route to a shutout. Barrett managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 0.5 prior to the game.
Leamington also got points from Cale Phibbs, who also registered two goals and one assist. Chris Scott also scored for Leamington. More assists for Leamington came via Eric Henderson, who had three, J.P. Grineau, Blaine Bechard, Matthew Opblinger, Zack Guilbeault, and Thomas Virban, who contributed one each, and Alex Friesen and Kyle Quick, who each chipped in two.
Leamington avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. Andrew Harriman-Duke made three saves before being replaced by Anthony Hurtubise, who took the loss and made 19 saves. Lambton Shores ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
