Behind a great game by Emma Low-A-Chee, who had two goals and one assist, TORONTO defeated AURORA, 7-2. Low-A-Chee scored at 9:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 TORONTO and again while 6:33 into the second to make the score 4-1 TORONTO.The win by TORONTO clinched the best of five series at 3-2. TORONTO put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow AURORA to score on any of its three power plays. TORONTO forced AURORA goalie Melissa Black to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. TORONTO additionally got points from Daryl Watts, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Tori Haywood, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Jessie Eldridge also scored for TORONTO. More assists for TORONTO came via Haley Shugart, Sabrina Repaci, Cristine Chao, and Mikyla Grant Mentis, who each chipped in one and Claire Thompson, Celine Frappier, and Laura Ball, who contributed two each. AURORA did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 12 saves. AURORA was led by Jaden Head, who racked up one goal and one assist. Head scored 12:09 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Becca Chilvers assisted on the tally. AURORA also got a goal from Tara Morning (A) as well. Other players who recorded assists for AURORA were Claudia Black (A), who had one. TORONTO's Stephanie Neatby stopped 12 shots out of the 14 that she faced. TORONTO incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Black rejected 26 shots on goal for AURORA. AURORA incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
