TORONTO falls to AURORA in overtime, 1-0 (OT)

AURORA pulled out a 1-0 (OT) overtime victory over TORONTO on a clutch goal by Jaden Head.

After the loss made the series score 2-1 in the best of five series, TORONTO faces elimination next time out.

Taylor Lemmon spearheaded the defensive effort for AURORA, as she did not allow a puck past him and made 34 saves for the shutout. Lemmon managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 1.18 prior to the game.

Head's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 2:10 in the fourth period. Claudia Black (A) picked up the assist.

AURORA did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 12 shots on net to force 11 saves. AURORA did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.
