SPENCER lifts PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY over NEW JERSEY SURGE, 4-1

BRANDON SPENCER was all over the ice for PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY, as he tallied two goals in PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY's 4-1 win over NEW JERSEY SURGE.

SPENCER scored at 56 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY and again while on the power play 5:08 into the second to make the score 2-0 PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY.

PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY was led by goalie MIKE MACIKANYCZ, who finished with 33 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of MACIKANYCZ will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 9.24.

NEW JERSEY SURGE was unable to stop PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY from sending pucks towards the net, and PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.
