NEW ENGLAND INSANITY erases deficit to stun BUFFALO FUSION, 5-4

NEW ENGLAND INSANITY climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat BUFFALO FUSION, 5-4.

NEW ENGLAND INSANITY never led in the game until netting the game winner. NEW ENGLAND INSANITY trailed 3-1 after a goal by BUFFALO FUSION's MIKE KNAVEL at 11:33 in the first period. NEW ENGLAND INSANITY knotted things up at 4-4 on a goal by Joshua Antunes at 8:40 in the second period. NEW ENGLAND INSANITY scored the game winner at 8:50 in the second period on a goal by Antunes.

NEW ENGLAND INSANITY forced BUFFALO FUSION goalie Nick Koszuta to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

NEW ENGLAND INSANITY additionally got points from Jimmy Fuoroli, who also had one goal and one assist and Austin Natividad, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for NEW ENGLAND INSANITY came via Brian Beaudette, Dan Boutelle, and Jerry Turcotte, who contributed one each.

BUFFALO FUSION's offense rang up 46 shots on NEW ENGLAND INSANITY's net.

Koszuta rejected 37 shots on goal for BUFFALO FUSION. BUFFALO FUSION ended with no penalties and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
