NORTHEAST UPRISING erases deficit to stun PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY, 5-3

NORTHEAST UPRISING climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY, 5-3.

NORTHEAST UPRISING never led in the game until netting the game winner. NORTHEAST UPRISING fell behind 3-0 after a goal by PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY's SHANE THOMAS at 11:28 in the first period. NORTHEAST UPRISING knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Tanner Tuohy at 11:20 in the second period. NORTHEAST UPRISING netted the game winner at 12:48 in the second period on a goal by Tuohy.

Tuohy had a great game for NORTHEAST UPRISING, netting two goals.

NORTHEAST UPRISING forced PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY goalie KYLE MAGER to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots.

NORTHEAST UPRISING also got points from Matt Troy, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for NORTHEAST UPRISING included Trevor Shea and Will Lalor, who each put in one.

PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY's offense rang up 44 shots on NORTHEAST UPRISING's net.

PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY was led by JIM MAGER, who tallied one goal and one assist. MAGER scored 2:58 into the first period to make the score 2-0 PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY. ERIC COOPER picked up the assist. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY also got a goal from BILL CUNNIGHAM as well. In addition, PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY received assists from BOB GOODMOTE, who had one.

Will Botelho made 41 saves for NORTHEAST UPRISING on 44 shots. NORTHEAST UPRISING finished the contest with no penalties and went 0-for-2 with the man advantage. MAGER rejected 35 shots on goal for PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities.
