EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS came close to giving away a three-goal lead to DELCO DEMONS ORANGE, but did just enough to escape with a 6-4 victory. EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS' Pat Rosa scored at 5:30 in the second period to put EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS up 6-3. George Liapis was all over the ice for EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS, as he grabbed two goals in the win. Liapis scored at 7:59 into the first period to make the score 2-2 and again while 4:44 into the second to make the score 5-3 EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS. DELCO DEMONS ORANGE's CRAIG FULTZ could not handle what EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS threw at him, as EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS netted its goals off of nine. EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS additionally got points from Rosa, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Sean Beatty, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Sam Sherman also scored for EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS. In addition, EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS received assists from Vincent Vilinoti, who had one and Dale Johnson and Christopher Culot, who contributed two each. DELCO DEMONS ORANGE was helped by VINCE PANACCIO, who had one goal. PANACCIO scored 1:44 into the second period to make the score 3-3. VINNIE BARONE assisted on the tally. DELCO DEMONS ORANGE also got points from BARONE, who also racked up one goal and one assist and STEVE SMITH, who also registered one goal and one assist. DELCO DEMONS ORANGE also got a goal from VINCE ISRAEL as well. More assists for DELCO DEMONS ORANGE came via JUSTIN LINDEMUTH, who had one and WILLIAM HALL, who had two. EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS' Kevin Mashavejian stopped 17 shots out of the 21 that he faced. EMPIRE STATE LEGENDS avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. CRAIG FULTZ made three saves for DELCO DEMONS ORANGE on nine shots. DELCO DEMONS ORANGE ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
