Doucette's hat trick boosts St. Catharines over Thorold, 5-1

A hat trick by Ryan Doucette was the highlight in Falcons' 5-1 win against the Thorold Blackhawks.Doucette got on the scoresheet 17:06 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:17 into the second and at 17:04 into the second.
The win by the St. Catharines Falcons clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.
Thorold was unable to stop St. Catharines from sending pucks towards the net, and the Falcons eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. St. Catharines capitalized on the Blackhawks' penalties, netting three goals while skating with a man advantage.
St. Catharines additionally got points from Brock Ackerman, who also finished with one goal and three assists to lead the team in points and Tyler Morrison, who also registered one goal and one assist.
