The M1 Duquesne University Dukes pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the M1 Pittsburgh University of Panthers on a clutch goal by Nolan Trombetta.

Trombetta had a great game for M1 Duquesne University, netting two goals. Trombetta scored on the power play at 8:58 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M1 Duquesne University and again while 57 seconds into the fourth to make the score 4-3 M1 Duquesne University.

The Dukes' penalty kill unit could not stop M1 Pittsburgh University of's power play, which converted on two of three opportunities. M1 Duquesne University's offense was clicking better than usual and put 34 shots on goal during the game, better than the 2.4 shots per game it averages.
