M1 Western Michigan University survives M1 Michigan-Dearborn / Univ of comeback, wins 5-4Revolution Rink 1 Fri, Feb 20, 2015 The M1 Michigan-Dearborn / Univ of Wolverines almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the M1 Western Michigan University Stallions managed to pull out a 5-4 win in the end. M1 Western Michigan University led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Stallions' Zach Mudge scored at 6:57 in the first period to put M1 Western Michigan University up 3-0. Cole Kapovich had two goals to lead the Stallions to victory. Kapovich scored at 1:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Western Michigan University and again while 12:11 into the third to make the score 5-4 M1 Western Michigan University. Anthony Benvenuti spearheaded the defensive effort for M1 Western Michigan University, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 28 saves for the shutout.
