WHITBY survived a determined comeback attempt by OAKVILLE on the way to a 2-1 win. WHITBY made the score 2-0 on a goal by Katelyn Rae at 14:13 in the second period, and OAKVILLE got as close as 2-1 when Amy Curlew scored 13:32 into the third period. The win gave WHITBY a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. WHITBY was led by Rae, who finished with one goal. WHITBY's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five OAKVILLE power plays.
