The Dundas Blues' Connor King scored 6:30 into overtime to beat the Dunnville Jr. Mudcats, 3-2 (OT). After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Dunnville faces elimination next time out. Dundas was sparked by King, who tallied one goal. The Blues' offense rang up 55 shots on the Jr. Mudcats' net. Dundas also had goals scored by Joey Sullivan and Alex Aquin, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Dundas were Dan Pelosini, Mitch Moriarity, Ryan Waterhouse, Cam McConnell, Braxton Andrews, and Brock Novak, who each chipped in one. Dunnville forced Dundas goalie Novak to work between the pipes, taking 61 shots. The Jr. Mudcats were helped by Chad Springer, who had one goal. Springer scored short handed 1:49 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Josh Meeuwse also scored for Dunnville. In addition, Dunnville received assists from Matt Dolan, who had one. Brock Novak made 59 saves for the Blues on 61 shots. Dundas incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Dunnville's Josh Rosettani stopped 52 shots out of the 55 that he faced. The Jr. Mudcats totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. Dunnville ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Damien Lalonde was ejected from the game.
