M1 Davenport University got the win behind a great game by Jordan Simmonds, who had two goals and one assist. Simmonds scored the first of his two goals at 1:15 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Davenport University. Chris Eckler picked up the assist. Simmonds' next tally made the score 5-0 M1 Davenport University with 8:22 left in the second period. Kody Polin assisted on the tally.
